In what is seen as a victory for the Assange campaign and journalism in general , the English court has ruled that Julian Assange is not to be extradited to the USA.
The US govt has said it will appeal the decision.
This is the opportune time for the Australian PM to step in and insist on Assange being brought home to Australia as Assange is still an Australian citizen deserving of all the protections that entails.
Julian Assange has committed no crimes and has every right to the protection of our Federal Government.
The fact is that the Morrison govt has neglected their responsibilities towards Assange even though he is still an Australian citizen.
We all know that the Morrison govt is not a supporter of a free press , and it is not hard to see why they have abrogated their responsibilities toward Assange.
Yet another reason to vote this corrupt rabble out at our earliest convenience.
